Let's talk about it!

In 1569-70 the largest of the surviving shopping arcades of Bukhara - Toki Zargaron ("the dome of jewelers") was built. This is an excellent building. This is the dome passage that is a vault above the roadway in conjunction with a gallery for shops and repair shops. Toki Zargaron dome accommodated 36 workshops and jewelers' shops. The dome covers of Toki Zargaron are strict and precise. They are not decorated; everything is subordinated to the building logic. This trading dome of Bukhara is rightfully considered the largest indoor bazaar in the city. Another feature of Toki Zargaron is the shape of the dome - it is extended upwards, and has vertical bulging ribs.

The Toki Zargaron is located on the well-known shopping area of Bukhara, it is a huge covered building with jewelry sold in the 16th century. "Toki Zargaron" literally means "dome of jewelers", that is part of the bazaar, which was dedicated to the manufacture and sale of various jewelries of gold and silver.


The jewelry market was famous for its wide choice of precious products, where you could find earrings, bracelets and necklaces, even for the most sophisticated tastes. Once in a huge room there were 36 jewelry stores, and Zargaron, the trading dome, stood among the first trading floors built in ancient Bukhara. Today, as the market is operational, the trade is going on under the famous dome, many visitors come here to purchase something beautiful from a wide range of goods: from national scarves to the home’s interior decorations.

 One of the most famous spiritual leaders is Hoja Azizona (Ali Romitani). He is also known as Azizon (Honourable Sheikh). He was born in 1195 in Kurgan and worked as weaver. Thanks to him, the Mongol khans accepted Islam, believing that they are miracle-worker.   Hello everyone! 👻 Sixth day <° _ ^> Our ²nd week began with travelling to Sitora-i Moxi Xossa. ✌ Are you ready to get information about it‽👂 Then we will begin(θ‿θ)👀 Many people who visit this place call it as fairy Paradise. And it is true, because in this blessed gardens you could see numerous peacocks or the birds of Eden. They are walking about garden paths, dispiritedly staring at their dry thin feet. According to the legends, these birds were excluded from Paradise and as punishment have received extremely horrible voice. This place called Sitorai Mohi Hosa that located in the Pearl of Uzbekistan – Bukhara. Until now, they are walking about summer palace of Bukhara Emir. And here guides insistently advise every visitor to feed these royal birds, because they aren't even afraid of people. And they accurately take small pieces of bread out of hands. Xodja Muhammad Babai Samosiy

The next road leads to the tomb of the great Sufi al Bobo Samosi, who predicted the birth of Bahauddin Naqshbandi. Bobo al Samosi said: “It will take quite some time, and his fragrance will spread all over the world”. Today the tomb of St. Babai Simasi is a place of worship for hundreds of thousands Muslims from all over the world. The memorial complex of Khaja Makhammad Babai Sammasi is the burial place of the famous Sufi, a follower of Khaji Ali Ramitani. Khaja Sammasi made an invaluable contribution to the development of Sufism, predicted the birth of a great person, Bakhautdin Mukhammad Nakshbandi.  The legend says that once passing by the native village of Bakhautdin Kasri in Khinduwan, the mystery was dawned up. He said that the greatest son of Sufism and enlightenment will be born in this place, and the place will be called “the village of the enlightened”. The teacher died at the age of 95 in 1354.
